Jan Kalyan Shivir (currently also branded Seva Setu Abhiyan) is the Government of West Bengal’s convergent, single-window citizen outreach programme. Temporary camps (Shivirs) are set up across every district so residents can register for multiple Central and State schemes, complete document verification, receive certain services on the spot, and lodge grievances without travelling to multiple offices.

Current Camp Schedule (October 2026)

The second major round under the Seva Setu Abhiyan name is scheduled for 2–4 October 2026 across all districts of West Bengal. Standard camp hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Exact venues, dates and the Gram Panchayat or ward coverage for each camp are published only on the official locator tool.

An earlier round ran from 15–17 June 2026 (extended in some locations to 18 June). Contemporary reporting of official statements put cumulative registrations for that round in the range of roughly 38–40 lakh citizens.

What a Shivir Actually Provides

Camps function as one-stop service points. Citizens can typically:
